Therapeutic Deep Tissue / Fascia release allows us to find both deep and shallow "issues in the tissues" and facilitates release at the body's own pace.
Massage is not meant to be a one and done session. Our bodies spend a lifetime in constant response to the intense demands we give it. Our fascia responds by splinting and holding itself into unnatural postures that are inevitable for most.
Therefore, bodywork should not be treated as a special treat nor a one-time response to injury. Instead, it should be incorporated into a balanced lifestyle.
